MANSFIELD — A Mansfield man was arrested after METRICH detectives reported finding guns, cash and suspected drugs while executing a search warrant at a Diamond St. residence on Wednesday.

Hendrick Bradley was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin, and weapons under disability, all third-degree felonies after authorities say they found three handguns, drug paraphernalia, $4,128 and suspected heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

According to METRICH Sgt. Steve Blust, the arrest was made in conjunction with the U.S. Marshal’s task force, who were at 837 Diamond St., Apt. 1 to arrest Hendrick and observed drugs in plain view.

Bradley was taken to the Richland County Jail where he will await a court appearance. Additional charges may be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review, Blust said.

“The METRICH Enforcement Unit will continue to target those individuals that traffic drugs in the community and would like to thank those individuals who called in the numerous tips and complaints regarding Hendrick Bradley, which assisted detectives in this investigation,” Blust said.

The METRICH Enforcement Unit encourages citizens to continue to be proactive by reporting suspected drug activity. Citizens can call the METRICH Crime Tip Hotline at 419-52-CRIME (419-522-7463) or the Task Force line at 419-755-9728.
