Ronald P. “Ron” Stallings, 80, of Mansfield passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He was born in Hemlock, Ohio on April 6, 1936 to the late Kenneth and Violet (Hupps) Stallings.
Ronald retired from Forrest Screw Machine after 15 years of service. He was previously employed at Mansfield Oxygen for 21 years. Ronald was a member of Eagles and the Owls for 37 years, and a member of Sons of Herman for nine years. He was a devoted and generous husband. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tending to his vegetable garden. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and OSU.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Wanda (Collins) Stallings; two sons, Randy (Opal Phillips) Stallings, of Mansfield, Mike (Tracy) Stallings, of Ontario; three daughters, Teresa (Billy) Bays, of Mansfield, Robin (Kim) Elliott, of Galion, Michelle (Randy) Baughman, of Mansfield; one step-daughter, Pam (Raffy) Santiago, of Columbus; two step-sons, Kevin (Annie) Kincaid, of Chilicothe, and Tom Kincaid, of Zanesville. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny (Shirley) Stallings of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sharon Robinson and one grandson, Cody Stallings.
There will be no services observed for Ronald. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
