Lois M. Mills, 85, Galion, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at Signature Healthcare, Galion.
Lois was born in Angola, Indiana, on April 6, 1931 to the late Verr D. and Loraine M. (Mortorff) McClish. She married Arlie R. Mills in 1973 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2011.
Lois was retired from Iberia Earthworm, in Iberia. She was a member of the Blooming Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church and active in a bible study group there. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed quilting. A very trusting and caring person, Lois treated everyone with respect. Lois loved all animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her children, Brenda and Franklin Stidham, of Crestline, Rebecca Manning, of Taylor, Michigan, Pamela and Nicholas Tesso, of Crestline, William and Diana Mills, of Westerville, and Deborah Hobbs, of Galion; her grandchildren, Angela Black, Billy Manning Jr., Nicholas Tesso Jr., Amanda Tesso, Alyssa Mills, and Zach Mills; six great-grandchildren; her siblings, Arden and Norma McClish, of North Fairfield, Margaret Bartow, of Monroeville, Joan and Jim Roth, of Fostoria, Mary Kennedy, of Punta Gorda, Florida; her special friend Melisa Corwin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Theodore Wolfe; and her brothers, John McClish and Howard McClish.
Friends may call Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way N., Galion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at Galion Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Marcellus de Oliveira officiating. Burial will follow in Iberia Cemetery, Iberia.
