OLIVESBURG — Two Richland County schools joined forces earlier this month for a seven-state swing that culminated at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado.
On Friday, Jan. 13, 22 Crestview FFA members, traveling with students from the Clear Fork FFA, began their journey west.
The trip to Denver and back took a total of eight days and included more than 3,000 miles across seven states.
Along the way the group was able to tour: Tyson Meat Processing plant, the Anheuser Busch brewing company, Steamboat Arabia Museum, Flint Hills Discovery Center, Lloyd Waller Feedlot, Hornady Manufacturing, the University of Nebraska, Midwest Laboratories, Hawkeye Breeders, the John Deere Seeding Group as well as John Deere Harvester Works.
The group made its last stop at Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, Indiana.
