GALION — There will be an 8th grade parents meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Galion Middle School to discuss the annual trip to Washington D.C.

The administration of the Galion Middle School said the class will be going from May 23 to 25. The cost for this year’s trip is $385, with the initial deposit of $150 due by Sept. 15. A $100 payment is due Dec. 1, and the balance for the trip is due April 1.

Students must be in good academic standing and acquire no more than 19 demerits for the school year in order to be eligible for the trip. The building administration will make a final determination of all students’ academic and behavior standings.
