GALION – The Galion Athletic Department will host multiple Parents’ Nights this month for 2016 fall sports season.
The volleyball team will host its recognition ceremony Sept. 6, while the football team and cheerleaders will honor parents Sept. 30.
These special evenings are aimed at honoring those individuals who have had the biggest impact on the lives of senior athletes. All honorees will be escorted across the playing service and publicly acknowledged for their accomplishments.
Athletics Director Kyle Baughn is excited to recognize these parents for their tireless commitment to helping their sons and daughters achieve success on the court and in the classroom.
“They are an inspiration to the students both on and off the field and their sacrifices for the students do not go unnoticed,” Baughn said. “We really want to make it a special night for the parents, students and community.”
