MANSFIELD — OhioHealth, the Renaissance Performing Arts Association and Kingwood Center are teaming up to offer a series of free yoga classes in unusual spaces accompanied by musicians from the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra over the coming year.
The series, entitled “Hatha + Harmony,” begins with an outdoor class on the south lawn of Kingwood Center at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 1. In case of inclement weather, the class will be moved to the Carriage House at Kingwood Center.
The class will be accompanied by a string quartet from the Mansfield Symphony. Instructor Claudia Cummins will lead participants through a 45-minute hatha yoga class. Participants are asked to supply their own mat.
OhioHealth is sponsoring the event, and registration is free for all participants, which includes admission to Kingwood Center. Registration is available at MansfieldTickets.com/yoga and is limited to 60 participants.
