MANSFIELD — Information is now available for anyone interested in becoming an officer in the Mansfield NAACP.
The organization is accepting candidates for Branch President, 1st Vice‐President, 2nd Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Executive Committee Members:
“For the purpose of being certified as an eligible candidate one must have been a bona fide member of the Branch by April 1, 2016, as well as live and/or work in the jurisdiction of the Branch,” said Alice Williams, NAACP President of Mansfield. “Please note: all questions regarding the eligibility of candidates must be resolved prior to the conclusion of the October meeting.”
All meetings are at 6 p.m. at the NECIC Building, 199 N. Main St. in Mansfield. Meetings are on the following dates: Monday, Sept. 12; Monday, Oct. 10; and Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.
