Sherri K. Winch, 47 of Crestline went home to be with her Lord, unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016.

She was born June 6, 1969 in Galion and was the daughter of Royal B. and Judith A. (Sherman) Tinch, who survive in Galion.

Along with her parents, Sherri is survived by her husband of nearly 23 years, Terry L. Winch whom she married on Dec. 18, 1993 along with a sister Sandy (Wayne) Hough, of Galion; brothers, Steve (Nan) Tinch, of Cincinnati, Jeff Tinch, of Cincinnati and Scott (Janice) Tinch, of Galion; mother-in-law Joan Winch, of Crestline; brother-in-law Larry (Sherry) Winch, of Crestline; nieces and nephews Erin (Joe) Kron, Dylan Kron, Alex Kron, Ashly Hough, Lincoln Hough, Logan Hough, Stuart, Dan and Nathan Tinch, Leslie (Raymond) Brown, Kennedy, Carter and Emerson Brown, Nichole and Megan Winch, Nyoka Fauser, Rhonda Winks, Tascha Livengood, and her great niece Zoey Winch. 

Sherri is preceded in death by a nephew Christopher Tyler Tinch; brothers-in-law Ron and Ric Winch and a father-in-law Charlie Winch.

She was a 1989 graduate of Galion High School and received her associate’s degree from North Central State in Mansfield. Sherri was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Galion and currently worked as the front end manager at Lowes in Ontario where she has been employed for 23 years. She enjoyed taking cruises and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 19 at Gospel Baptist Church, 5670 St. Rt. 19 Galion, Ohio with Pastor Steven Hodges officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
