Donald D. Lozier, 74, of Fredericktown, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 at his home.
He was born Aug. 11, 1942 in Mansfield, Ohio, to John and Bertha (Spayde) Lozier.
In 2004, Donald retired after 35 years from Shiloh Corporation, where he worked in shipping and receiving, and was well loved. He was a member of Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church and in the past, he was a Head Trustee. Donald was involved in Feed the Hungry and loved his church family dearly.
Donald was an avid fisherman who enjoyed camping and the outdoors. In his free time he enjoyed watching football. He loved playing music and singing with his wife. Donald loved his family, adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Donald is survived by his wife of 47 years, Altha M. (Duncan) Lozier; children, Dwayne J. Bond Sr. (Ashlie Lemaster), Tammy L. Bond, Timothy D. Lozier (Tammy Owens); grandchildren, Heather (Ricky) Sutter, Cody Lozier, Bruce (Lisa) Lozier, Nathan Mays, Ciarra Lozier and Brooklyn Bond; great-grandchildren, Juelien, Matthew and Isaiah Sutter, Aeson Lozier, Nevaeh, Gavynn, Shaylynn and Aniyah Lozier; brother, Lawrence Lozier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha (Spayed) Lozier; grandson, Dwayne Bond Jr.; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Visitation for Donald will be held Wednesday Aug. 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St Mansfield, Ohio.
Funeral services will held Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church, 102 Columbus Rd, Fredericktown, OH. Burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church.
