Tommy L. Bricker, 80, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was born to Lowell E. and Margaret E. (Tearney) Bricker on October 12, 1935.

Tommy had been a math teacher with Mansfield City Schools. He retired after 35 years of service, most of which were spent at Sherman Middle School. He was often found helping others in need and had a true heart of gold. He kept a continually upbeat and positive outlook on life. Tommy was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan. He was a member of the VFW #3494 Auxiliary, YMCA, Eagles, and the Grotto. He loved all animals, especially his dogs.

Tommy is survived by his sister, Sandra Lee (Richard Sr.) Teeters; nieces, Penny (Jim) Cottrill, and Teresa Baker; nephews, Richard Teeters Jr., Kenneth L. (Michelle) Jordan; and Edward Teeters; and 17 great nieces and great nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Brad and Chad Jordan.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the funeral home to the family.
