Carol E. Lambright, 91, formally of Crestline, died peacefully on the morning of Friday, July 1, 2016 at Serenity House Hospice in Phoenix, AZ.
She was born in Chatfield, on July 1, 1925 to the late Henry P. and Nora S. (Beal) Ross. She married Robert E. Lambright on September 9, 1951 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1997.
Carol was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Crestline. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. With her love of cooking, Carol had many recipes, fruitcake being her specialty. Carol had always been captivated by the Arizona landscape and her family there loved having her with them for the last years of her life.
She is survived by her son Steven (Sarah) Lambright, Crestline, daughter Sharon (Ronald) Pike, Phoenix, her daughter-in-law Barb Lambright, Crestline, her six grandchildren Caity Lambright, Christina Pike, Lisa Pike, Jennifer (Eric) Wakely, David Lambright, Victoria Lambright, and her four great-granddaughters JaeLynne, Addi, Harmony, and Natalie.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Lambright, her infant son Roger Lambright, her grandson Reece Lambright, her granddaughter Aundrea Lambright, her three brothers Myron Ross, Melvin Ross, Richard Ross, and her sister Kathryn Ross.
Friends may call on service day, Monday, July 11, 2016, from 2-6 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 223 W. Main St., Crestline, with services following at 6 p.m. Pastor Chris Spencer will be officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery, Chatfield.
