MANSFIELD — A Mansfield man, Douglas Long, 69, was arrested by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Saturday afternoon for making threats with razor blades to an employee and patrons at a local restaurant.
Upon arrival to the scene, deputies reported Long hiding his hands in a McDonald’s bag. The deputy made the arrest without trouble, according to a RCSD report.
Other witnesses confirmed Long was threatening to cut throats and male genitals. Several witnesses said Long was also touching two female juveniles during the incident.
Long was arrested for sexual imposition, aggravated menacing and inducing panic with a reckless disregard.
Long has no previous court cases in Richland County, according to court records.
According to a RCSD report, Long was issued a summons for court dates and times on Saturday.
