SHELBY — State Farm is pleased to welcome new agent Amanda Mobley to its family of Good Neighbor Agents in Shelby. The Amanda Mobley Agency, located at 206 Mansfield Ave., officially opened its doors on March 1.
Mobley is a graduate of Ashland University, where she majored in finance and political science. Prior to becoming a State Farm Agent, Mobley worked in insurance and surety claims at Great American Insurance and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Now she is excited about this new venture, helping local residents with their insurance and financial services needs.
“Being a State Farm agent provides me to the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the people around me,” said Mobley. “I have always wanted to own my own business and State Farm offered a way for me to enjoy what I do. “This career allows me to work directly with the people of Shelby and the surrounding communities to help prepare for the unexpected, protect what is most important to them, and plan for their future.”
Mobley and her family, husband Josh and son Lincoln, are active in the community. Mobley is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Richland Young Professionals. Her office includes three staff members, Adam Stanley, Brian Porter, and Josh Mobley, who are licensed and prepared to help clients with their insurance and financial services needs.
