YOUNGSTOWN — FBI and area authorities are searching for Ramos Cruz, a fugitive who reportedly broke free during an apprehension early Thursday morning.
Authorities say Cruz fired several shots and struck a police cruiser in the Youngstown area. Cruz, who is wanted for multiple felonies, is considered armed and dangerous.
In a police record from Puerto Rico, his place of birth, Cruz is described as black with a thin build, approximately 5-foot-7, 145 pounds.
Authorities report he has a charge for sexual aggression with a victim less than 16 years old.
