Elizabeth Evelyn Dalenberg, 90, of Ashland, died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at her residence.
Born Sept. 7, 1925 in Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Anthony George and Theresa Anna (Prinz) Gerger.
She worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church but her greatest interest was being around her family.
She is survived by her son, James Dalenberg, of Ashland; four daughters, Joyce (Mark) Roberts, of Galion, Jean (John) Zeigler, of Dublin, Ohio, Jacilyn Dalenberg, of Wooster, Ohio and Joan Leeth, of Ashland, Ohio; 42 grandchidlren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a brother, William (Nancy) Gerger, of Defiance, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dalenberg on June 23, 2007; a brother, Joseph Gerger; and a son-in-law, Larry Leeth.
A memorial Mass will be said 10 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 104 W. First St., Mansfield conducted by Father Gregory Hite.
Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service at the church on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Msgr. Dunn Foundation for Education.
