Curtis Pierre Hall, 58, passed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 in his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Hall was born on Monday, Oct. 28,1957 to the late Marvin and Stella Mae (Dowdell) Hall in Mansfield. Curtis resided in Mansfield only leaving during the time that he served his country. He was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Malabar High School, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He retired from the State of Ohio Corrections System in 2010 after serving 15 years at MANCI. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
What Curtis enjoyed and appreciated most in life was the time he spent with his family especially his grandsons.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Felecia Marshall Hall; daughter: TaNiesha Hall, of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sons, Staff Sgt. Anre’ Pierre Hall, U.S. Army, of Clarksville, and Christian Hall, of Mansfield; three grandsons: Anre’, Julian and Sonny Hall, of Clarksville; three sisters: Lorie Levy, and Elder Lisa (Sidney) Brown, of Mansfield, and Elder Stephanie Hall, of Orlando, Florida; and one brother, Steven Hall, of Mansfield.
In addition to his parents Curtis was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Hall.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at noon in the Shiloh Baptist Church with his pastor Bishop William Morris Jr. delivering the eulogy and Dr. Derek Williams of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. till the time of the funeral service. Interment will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
The family will also receive friends at their home on Sunday only from 2 to 6 p.m.
