Deborah Dials

Deborah Dials, 64, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 in Ohio State University Hospital surrounded by family.

She was born Aug. 25, 1951 to parents E. William & Alice (Reece) Barlow and graduated from Madison High School. On Oct. 10, 1980 she married Howard A. Dials.

She was an avid reader and a dog lover. Deb enjoyed spending time up at the lake and was a member of the Zeller’s Beach Club. She and Howard spent many weekends and most of the summer at their lake house and she loved spending time on the water, visiting lighthouses, and enjoyed it even more when shared with friends and family. Above all, Deb cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Her friends and family will miss her witty sense of humor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Howard Dials, of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law Pete and Melissa Dials, of Medina; two step-sons Jason and Michelle Dials, of Lexington, and Ryan and Joy Dials, of Mansfield; five grandchildren Malia, Alexis, Jack, Trevor, and Megan Dials; and a brother Reece Barlow, of Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life for Deb will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 in Snyder Funeral Home (2553 Lexington Ave in Mansfield) during which Celebrant Dave Roberts will facilitate an informal sharing time.

For contributions in her memory, make checks payable to the Zeller’s Beach Flower Fund and bring or send to the funeral home: P.O. Box 3085, Mansfield, Ohio 44904.
