Mark “Stump” D. Stamper, 53, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 4, 2016 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 1, 1963 to George and Zona L. (Mann) Stamper in Crestline, Ohio.
Mark was very personable, and a good and trusted friend. He enjoyed work, helping his mom, and being with his family and friends. Mark lived in Mansfield his whole life.
He is survived by his mother, Zona Mann Stamper, of Galion; his father and stepmother, George and Carol Stamper, of Mansfield; his girlfriend, Sheila Lambert, of Mansfield; his brother, George Allen Stamper, of Mount Vernon; many cousins and numerous friends; and his aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil (Mary Jo) Sherriff, of Marion, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy (Joann) Stamper, of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at 1 p.m., also at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.
