Sandra L. Brown, 64, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at her residence.
She is no longer suffering, she is with her Lord and Savior now. Sandra was born to Roy L. and Lola E. (Nolen) Lawhorn on April 6, 1951.
Sandra’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren, and she was so blessed to have her sisters-in-law to be at her side during her long illness.
The family wishes to thank Hospice and all the aids that were there to help in her comfort.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Mindy Brown, of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Nathan, Tristen, McKenna, Drew, and Alyssa; one brother and sister-in-law, Rick (Dovy) Lawhorn, of Columbus; six sisters-in-law, Wilma Marvel, Sue Bradshaw, Carolyn Pendleton, Phyllis Cook, Ella Brown, and Glad Brown; one niece, Crystal; and two nephews, Doug and Ryan.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rena Brown Bays; the father of her children, Paul Brown; one sister, Debbi Pettry; and one brother, Doug Lawhorn.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at Mansfield Memorial Park, 2507 Park Avenue West, at 3 pm, officiated by Pastor Ben Gregg.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lex-Springmill Rd.
