MANSFIELD, Ohio- Richland Bank continued its tradition of making a donation to a local non-profit on behalf of its customers again this year. President John Brown presented a check for $1,000 to Brenda Nelson, Director of The Dewald Community Center, at The Salvation Army board meeting in October.

“The Dewald Community Center has had a positive impact on numerous youth in our community,” said Brown. “Richland Bank is proud to provide this donation on behalf of our customers. It is our hope that it will assist them with their amazing work and to continue to change lives.”

Partnering with The Dewald Center added a new and fun element to the annual tradition, added Brown. Students were asked to help out with the bank’s Christmas card by submitting artwork of a holiday scene. Close to 20 students took part, earning each of them a McDonald’s Arch Card. The winner was Esther Stanfield with her version of The Nativity. She also received a $25 gift card to Toys-R-Us.
