MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Ohio Author Signing Series will return to Main Street Books in Mansfield starting on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m.
“We at Main Street Books like to do everything we can to support the local literary scene,” said Llalan Fowler, manager of Main Street Books. “We have an extensive collection of books by area authors, many guides on Ohio travel and wildlife, as well as a large section on Mansfield and Ohio history. We are honored to be featuring so many talented local writers at this signing.”
Authors slated to appear include Scott Fields, of Lexington. He is probably best-known for his novel The Mansfield Killings, which novelized the true events of a murder spree in the area in 1948. His new book, A Montage of Short Stories, is a collection of real life stories. Fields calls it his “pride and joy.”
Also attending is Ashland author Adam Doc Fox. His book Grief Species: Aka the Demise of Print Media and Bachelor Parties, is composed in “speed prose,” and is heavy on humor and satire. The group will also include several authors from Visionary Press Collaborative.
