MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Area Y is pleased to announce its 17th annual Halloween at the YMCA event being at 750 Scholl Rd., on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Children 6 months to 12 years old are invited to come spend a spooktacular day at the YMCA, where there will be a costume contest, carnival-style games, face painting, a bounce house, pumpkin painting, a selfie station, and safe trick-or-treating. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Historically, the Mansfield Area Y welcome 400-500 people to this free event that is open to the public. The Halloween at the YMCA event illustrates the Y’s outreach commitment to the youth of the Mansfield community. The Y delivers the same spirited and traditional activities families look forward to every year autumn, but the Mansfield Area Y treats and never tricks, so parents can relax, knowing their kids are having safe and supervised fun.
