GALION, Ohio – The staff and administrators at the Galion Primary School are excited to welcome back students for the 2015-2016 school year. As in the past, preschool and kindergarten students will begin the school year on a staggered start. The kindergarten schedule for this year’s start is outlined below.
• If student’s last name begins with A-I, he/she is scheduled to attend Tuesday, Aug. 25
• If student’s last name begins with J-R, he/she is scheduled to attend Wednesday, Aug. 26
• If student’s last name starts with S-Z, he/she is scheduled to attend on Thursday, Aug. 27
• All kindergarteners will attend school Friday, Aug. 28.
The first week of preschool will be for visitation and is scheduled to start Tuesday, Aug. 25. Preschool students will only attend one of three visitation days outlined below.
• If student’s last name begins with A-I, he/she is scheduled to attend Tuesday, Aug. 25
• If student’s last name begins with J-R, he/she is scheduled to attend Wednesday, Aug. 26
• If student’s last name starts with S-Z, he/she is scheduled to attend Thursday, Aug. 27.
These visitation days are informal, and provide parents and students with an opportunity to explore the classroom. Busing will not be provided for the visitation days. Transportation will be available for those that qualify beginning Monday, August 31. All preschool students are scheduled to attend Monday through Thursday.
