MANSFIELD, Ohio — Three men were arrested Tuesday morning after the METRICH Enforcement Unit, assisted by ASORT, Ashland METRICH and the Mansfield Police Department, served an early morning search warrant at 315 Second Avenue, Mansfield.

Delarcy Riyad Akin Sylvester-Black, 23; Teddy Mulaw Asefa, 26; and Jabril A. Bond, 20, all of 315 Second Ave., were arrested and are facing charges of possession of drugs (heroin) and possession of drugs (cocaine), both first degree felonies, as well as a charge of possession of drugs (marijuana), a third degree felony.

Information originated from citizen complaints of drug activity at the residence led to the search warrant. A search warrant was drafted and signed by Mansfield Municipal Court Judge Jerry Ault.

Detectives from the METRICH Enforcement Unit searched the residence and seized $3,393 in U.S. currency and two loaded firearms, a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver and a Ruger 9 mm pistol. Detectives also seized 125 grams of heroin with a street value of $10,000, 58 grams of cocaine with a street value of $6,000, 1,120 grams of marijuana with a street value of $4,000, and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
