Mary Lou Bird, age 79, of Galion passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield after a long illness.
Born May 29, 1936 in Ocala, FL. she was the daughter of Silas and Helen (Hall) Black.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1954. Mary Lou was active with the Galion Woman of the Moose and enjoyed going to Lake Erie in the summer. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by sisters Juanita Painter-Vaughn of Galion and Julia (Bob) Mitchell of Abington, VA.; brother John Black of Iola, WI. and special friend Barbara Cronin of Galion.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Joe, Billy and Larry Black.
Following Mary Lou’s wishes there will be no services.
