Homer Baldridge, age 79, resident Shelby, died Friday June 26, 2015 in his home.
Born in Rowan County, KY to Harley and Flora (Mynhier) Baldridge. He had been a lifelong Plymouth-Shelby area resident. Homer was a former employee of Plymouth Locomotive as well as the Standard Tube. He also had been a 4-H advisor of 15 years in addition to participating in Toastmasters of Shelby.
Survivors include his wife Nancy (Corfman) Baldridge; two sons and daughters-in-law Steven and Jill Baldridge of Shelby, and Jeffrey and Debbie Baldridge of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law Lori and Brian Bolingerof Mt. Gilead and Lisa and Rick Taylor, of Kendallville, IN; 15 grandchildren; and one sister Edna Mae Baldridge of Shelby.
In addition to his parents, Homer was preceded in death by his Grandson Jonathan Baldridge
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Steven Baldridge, his son, will officiate with interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
