Humphrey Brown, Jr., 81, of Mansfield passed away on June 17, 2015 following a lengthy illness.
Humphrey was born on February 1, 1934 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Humphrey and Mertle Brown. He enjoyed racing cars and making everyone laugh.
Humphrey is survived by four daughters; Rhonda Gleason, Denita Hicks, Angel Taylor of Mansfield, and Retha Carey of Oberlin; two brothers, James Brown of Mansfield and Hugh Brown of California; 12 Grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Humphrey was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pandora Brown; one daughter, Jennifer Benjamin; one son, Humphrey Brown, Jr.; three brothers and two sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East.
