ASHLAND, Ohio – Kingston of Ashland will host a free, one-hour continuing education and dinner event entitled “Alzheimer’s Disease: What to Expect – Questions” presented by Kristine Gale, LPN of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will be held Thursday, June 18, with registration and dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6 p.m.

The program is for anyone who would like to know more about Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.

Continuing education hours are available for nurses and social workers.

Topics covered will include:

*Elders in the community

*General facts on biological aging

*How normal older adult brains are different affecting communication

*How memory problems affect communication
