Fortina T. Seybold, 82, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015, at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield. She was born November 21, 1932, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Jack Theohar and Drosso (Koudouratzi) Theohar.
Fortina received her Bachelor’s Degree from Ashland College. She was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church where she was a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Group. A very active, vibrant woman, she participated in all outings at The Waterford. She visited her brother, Thomas, daily while she was out and about enjoying the community.
She is survived by her twin brother, Thomas Theohares of Mansfield, brother, Harry (Rhonda) Theohar of Las Vegas, NV; nephews, Nick (Anne) Theohares of Pendleton, IN, Steven Theohares of Mansfield, OH; niece, Cindy (Butch) Davidson of Mansfield, OH; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Seybold.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 265 West Third St., Mansfield with Father Michael Ellis presiding. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
