Norma Jean Jasinski, 88, of Mansfield, died Friday evening, May 15, 2015, at Mansfield Memorial Homes. She was born September 18, 1926, in Mansfield, Ohio, and was an area resident her entire life.
She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1944. Norma worked as a cook in the Ontario School System, but being a homemaker, was her most important job. She spent many hours taking care of her family and home. She treasured the time spent with her husband, Bernie Jasinski.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Penny Jasinski; five grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Miranda, Hannah and Bernie; a great-granddaughter, Ava; a sister, Marge Carpenter; a brother, Ronald Reinhart; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernie; parents; Clarence Henry Reinhart and Florence Bell Kline Reinhart; and sister, Virginia Brumm.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Mansfield Cemetery, with Pastor Doyle Peyton officiating. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
