Malawi Orphan Care Project, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that exists to partner with community leaders in Malawi to address the physical, spiritual, economic and relational needs of orphans and their caregivers in the Kanyenyeva area. Since 2005, MOCP has provided for the feeding and education of hundreds of Malawi orphans. Over 300 orphans are now registered with the project, and over 400 orphans are routinely fed four times per week. The orphans reside mostly with family, and the orphan project provides relief in the care and feeding of these extremely poor children. Almost 50 teens now receive $150 scholarships to attend high school, a formerly unattainable opportunity.
