Pamela Keppler

LUCAS: Pamela Sue Keppler, 63, of Lucas passed away Thursday evening, May 14, 2015 in Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness.

The daughter of Allen and Helen (Pinka) Harrod, Sue was born September 24, 1951 in Mansfield.

She was graduated from Lexington High School in 1970. On October 14, 1972 she married Douglas Keppler. Sue retired from Henley Graphics after working as a distributor for 17 years.

Always looking for a good bargain at local garage sales, Sue’s purchases were often given as gifts to her grandkids. A member of the Petal Pushers Garden Club, she absolutely loved flowers. A traveler at heart, Sue’s favorite destinations included Myrtle Beach, Gatlinburg, Las Vegas, and Florida.

Baking with love, her holiday cutout cookies couldn’t be duplicated, and her recipes were prepared by the dozens.

She was a member of Resurrection Parish. Selfless, Sue was always giving of her time. Weather volunteering at Resurrection Parish or offering to babysit, she was available to lend a helping hand.

She is survived by her loving husband Douglas Keppler of Lucas; sons Timothy (Darcy) Keppler of Galion and Kevin (Heather) Keppler of Mansfield and daughter Sara (Nathan) Courson of Mansfield; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kody, and Kallie Keppler; brother Thomas (Sharon) Harrod of Ontario; sister-in-law Jackie Kathery of Mt.
