L. Wynell Fraley, 83, of Houston, TX, formerly of Lucas, died Saturday, May 2, 2015. She was born August 24, 1931, the sixth of eight children of Purvis and Abbie Ruth (Bray) Baxley. In March 1948 she met Garnet Fraley, the love of her life. They married and as they looked for work, they made their home in Mansfield and spent their life together there raising their only child, Sharon.

After faithfully working at Therm-O-Disc for 26 years, Wynell retired. She and Garnet decided in their retirement to purchase a travel trailer and they began to travel the country. They were so proud to have traveled 50 states together. After Garnet passed away, Wynell spent the winters in Texas and the summers in Ohio, driving her red Mustang convertible back and forth.

Wynell was very active and very faithful in her church youth and Mission programs. She also became a world traveler going to Europe, Japan, and Brazil. It was one of her passions. In her later years she spent precious time in Texas with Sharon, Danielle, Sydney, and Alyssa, whom she loved very much.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Frayley Jordan Green and her husband, Joe Green; granddaughter, Caerin Danielle Jordan Covarrubias and her husband, Mike; her most precious great granddaughters, Sydney Green Covarrubias and Alyssa Jordan Covarrubias; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Alan Fraley who spent many hours with his aunt. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Garnet Fraley and her grandsons, Trice and Christopher Jordan.
