Patricia D. Back, 67, of Mansfield, left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on May 11, 2015. Born January 25, 1948 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Vernon and Wilma (Reed) Callahan.
She graduated from Madison High School in 1966 and retired from the City of Mansfield, Municipal Court. She loved her retirement and was always saying how thankful she was to be able to enjoy retirement ~ thanking God every day for it. She was a member of the Mansfield Eagles #336 and was secretary of the Auxiliary. She loved working in her yard and spending time with her family and many special friends.
She is survived by two sons, Bradley (Pam) Back and Mathew (Jaimie) Back; five grandchildren, Baylee Back, Natalee Back, Meado Back, Ashlie Dennison and Deven Dennison; a special nephew, Bill (Robyn) Billingsley; a cousin who was like a sister, Luci Wolfe; a very special friend, Randy Hall; niece, Jill (John) Pounds, a sister, Susan (Richard) Kochel; and many cousins and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lacey Back.
Patricia was a two time breast cancer survivor, first after 24 years, and was a fighter.
The family would like to thank Dr. Exten for his wonderful care, great knowledge he has and gave to Patricia and to OhioHealth MedCentral Cancer Care Staff.
