Mary Betty Jane See, 94, of Danielsville, GA and formerly of Galion, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her son’s home.
Mary Betty was born in North Manchester, IN on January 21, 1921 to the late George and Carolyn “Carrie” (Winters) Correll. She married Virgil Arthur See and he preceded her in death.
Mary Betty was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She was a loving and caring mother who was a pleasure to have around.
She is survived by her son, Craig Alan and Brenda See of Danielsville, GA; her daughter, Sandra Kay and Gary Albright of Galion; her daughter-in-law, Pat See; her six grandchildren and her seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Virgil Thomas “Butch” See and Roger Glen See; her three brothers, Gene, Beauford, and Fremont Correll; and her three sisters, Marjorie Miller, Vonda Trexler, and Georgetta Langrave.
Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 11 in Mansfield Memorial Park, Mansfield with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice in care of the funeral home.
