MANSFIELD, Ohio – On Sunday, May 3 at the 11 a.m. service at Mansfield Baptist Temple, 752 Stewart Road North, Mansfield, Pastor Robert Kurtz recognized Deputy Regnald Ganzhorn as a First Responder in our community.
Ganzhorn had been recognized in December 2014 as the Richland County Sheriff’s Deputy of the Year. Sheriff Steve Sheldon presented a plaque to Deputy Ganzhorn on behalf of Mansfield Baptist Temple thanking him for serving Richland County.
Ganzhorn started as a full time patrolman on Dec. 18, 2005, with the Plymouth Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office hired Ganzhorn as a full-time deputy on July 5, 2013.
Ganzhorn is married and lives in the Plymouth area.
Ganzhorn is a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was first deployed to Iraq in 2005, then deployed again to Afghanistan in 2010.
In a press release, the Sheriff’s Office thanked Deputy Ganzhorn for his military service and his service to the community as a law enforcement officer.
