Former Mansfield resident Jeanne Reed Test Antinozzi passed away quietly in her Naples, Florida home Saturday, May 2, 2015. She was 94.
Born Jeanne Catherine Reed August 18, 1920 in Jelloway to Dr. John A. and Hallie Gladys (Zimmerman) Reed, she was married to Mansfield surgeon Pasquale “P.S.” Test. After a short career in Dietetics, she switched occupations to supervise her husband’s medical office. Following Dr. Test’s death in 1994, she married architect Daniel P. Antinozzi, who has since predeceased her.
She is survived nieces and a nephew Andree Haj Abed of Ashland, Libby Orbison of Ocala, FL, Carla Robinson of Albuquerque, NM, Kimberly Omler of Vero Beach, FL, Brooke Millett of Rocky Mount, NC, Tonya Vorhees of Port Clinton, Myron Reed of Miami Beach, FL, and Melissa Geiger of Desert Hot Springs, CA; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sisters Dr. Esther Elizabeth “Dr. Betty” Reed, and Dr. Barbara Ann Reed Dedehayir; and her brother Dr. Myron Reed.
Her family will receive friends Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where her life will be celebrated Sunday at 1 p.m. with memories and reflections of a grand life…and the end of an era. Burial in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery will be Monday at 2 p.m.
