Juanita Joan “JJ” Frontz, 81, of Mansfield, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital. Born May 18, 1933 in Waukegan, IL, she was the daughter of Vernon and Eva (Magden) Woodall. A compassionate, yet outspoken woman, JJ loved being a jokester. She worked in retail throughout her life and retired from Sam’s Club and enjoyed being a part of church events at Hillside First Church of God. JJ was a collector of McDonalds toys and enjoyed cooking, crocheting while her children were growing up, and was also a world traveler with Germany and Japan being just a couple of the places she had visited.
She is survived by her sons who she loved with all her heart, Robert (Carol) Highfield, Gene (Kathy) Highfield, Bernie (Brenda) Highfield, and Tim (Wendy) Highfield; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, John “Mickey” Woodall; sister, Patty Ann Sprague; and numerous nieces and nephews
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Frontz and her three siblings.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial contributions may be made to Hillside First Church of God, 2369 Bowman Street Road, Mansfield, OH 44903.
