A draft of the Richland County Long Range Transportation Plan will be made available at www.rcrpc.org and at a May 1 Open House from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Regional Planning offices located at 35 North Park Street, Suite 230, Mansfield Ohio 44902. Public comments will be received through May 14.
The Richland County Regional Planning Commission along with their community stakeholders have worked to update the Richland County Long Range Transportation Plan. This plan is a document that guides transportation decision making for our county transportation system over the next 25 years by defining goals, objectives and strategies to meet community needs for a truly multi-modal and efficient transportation system. Federal requirements mandate this plan be updated every five years. Transportation programs and projects requesting federal funds must be consistent with this plan. RCRPC is seeking comments on this plan.
