Elizabeth Schneider, 89, of Mansfield passed away April 16, 2015 at Mansfield Memorial Homes.
Elizabeth was born May 1, 1924 in Yugoslavia to Paul and Regina Varga Sklena. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Daughters of Herman.
Survivors include her daughter Juliana Meyer of Mansfield; grandsons Karl (Laura Piscash) Meyer, Claus (Sherry) Meyer; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha, Victoria, Jarrod, and Nathaniel Meyer; great-great-grandchildren McKenna and Kyle Meyer; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Josef, and five siblings.
Friends may call at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. with a vigil service at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10j a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
