Clara Reynolds, age 77 of Galion passed away Monday afternoon, April 13, 2015 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born May 9, 1937 in Carter County, Kentucky and was the daughter of George and Mary (Boggs) Porter.
Clara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Arnold Reynolds who she married on February 25, 1955.
She is also survived by her children, Harley (Joyce Burns) Reynolds of Galion, Zoa (Gary) Criss of Galion and Arnie Reynolds of Galion; her six grandchildren, Trenton (Jamie) Reynolds of Columbus, Shannon (Shane) Bittner of Galion, Arnie (Nicole) Reynolds of Jefferson City, MO, Nikki Criss of Galion, Michale (Matt) Stewart of Galion and Holly Dameron of Galion; her 15 great-grandchildren; her two brothers, Willard (Linda) Porter of Carter County, KY and Gary Porter of Niles and her five sisters, Ester Barker of Greensfort, IN., Hazel Conn of Austintown, June (Gene) Conn of Greenfield, IN, Jewel Tomlin and Sue Bedsoe both of Niles.
Clara worked as an inspector at the former Valentec until her retirement in 1988. She loved shopping, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Gregory and Randall Reynolds, siblings, Wade Porter, Lester Porter, Joyce Ann Porter and Nelly Gilliam and a daughter-in-law Lisa Reynolds.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015 with Rev. Pat Fruth officiating. Burial will be at Crawford County Memory Gardens in Crestline.
