Joseph O. Gregory, age 74 of Galion passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 2015 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus after suffering a recent stroke.
He was born March 19, 1941 in Galion and was the son of Orville and Esther (Zeller) Gregory. On March 19, 1961 he married Maxine M. (Morton) Gregory and she survives.
Joe was a shot blast operator at the former Galion Ironworks for over 40 years and was an active member of the VFW Post 4329, AMVETS Polk Township Post 1979 and the American Legion Scarbrough Post 243 all of Galion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Linda and Joseph Haynes of Galion.
In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by his brother, David Gregory and his two sisters, Mary Lou Dailey and Jean Gregory.
At his request, no services will be held. Private burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.
