Panagiotis “Peter” E. Haloulakos, 92, of Mansfield, died Thursday evening, March 26, 2015, in Liberty Nursing Center. He was born June 13, 1923, in Gythion, Greece, to the late Elias P. Haloulakos and Zoitsa (Patrikadis) Haloulakos.

Early in his life, he was a police officer in Greece. He and his wife, Vasiliki Gouroudou Haloulakos, emigrated to the United States in 1955 and began a family. Peter was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and worked in the food industry his entire career in the U.S. Peter was a devoted family man and was always available to help out in any situation.

He is survived by his children, Louis (Beth) Haloulakos and Zoi (Mark) Romanchuk; brothers, Vasili (Vicki) Haloulakos, George (Migdalio) Haloulakos, Aristomeni (Vaso) Haloulakos and Janetto (Dina) Haloulakos; as well as many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vasiliki Haloulakos and a sister, Kaiti.

Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Los Angeles, California. There will be no visitation or services locally. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
