North Central Ohio (NCO) SCORE has announced a Small Business Basics for Veterans seminar and workshop series.
Topics will include personal factors for success, marking, record keeping, financing, websites, and more.
The seminar will be held Saturday, April 11, 8:20 a.m. – 5 p.m. with sign-in at 8 a.m. at the North Central State College Campus, Kee Hall, Room 128, 2441 Kenwood Cirle, Mansfield.
A continental breakfast, lunch, and seminar materials are included.
Small Business Basics Simple Steps Workshops will build on the concepts introduced in the seminar using additional speakers, workbooks, templates and group discussions.
The workshops will be held Thursday evenings from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and are scheduled as follows:
Business Concepts – April 16
Marketing Plan 1 – April 23
Marketing Plan 2 – April 30
Financial Projections 1 – May 7
Financial Projections 2 – May 14
Funding Sources – May 21
Documentation of veterans status will be required at sign in.
Spouses and partners of veterans may attend. Registration fees apply.
Registration is required. If registered by April 4, the cost of the seminar is $20; seminar and all workshops is $55.
Registration or payment after April 4 is $25 for the seminar alone and $60 for seminar and all workshops.
