Sharon Kay Liming

Sharon Kay Liming went home to be with the Lord Friday evening March 13, 2015 from Brethren Care Nursing Center in Ashland. She was 69.

Sharon was born May 16, 1945 in Scioto County. Her life took off when she and her husband, Steve Liming, married on October 3, 1964. She enjoyed a wonderful time since then in her role as a minister’s wife, supporting the ministry of the local church in her quiet way. She loved teaching children, singing in church choirs and using her gift of encouragement.

She invested her heart in raising two wonderful children, Brian Liming and Kimberly Wetz, in loving their mates Susan Liming and Michael Wetz, and gave her five grandchildren Deena Kay, Christopher, Dathan, Jeffrey and Chris and great-granddaughter Tessa Kay the love and devotion of a caring Mamaw and Grandma. Sharon poured herself into 150 children – babies, toddlers and young ones she babysat over the years – especially Rachel (Ruhl) Stull. Sharon was a wonderful, loving, caring servant of God who will be missed a great deal.

The Liming family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where her home-going service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Don Linn will officiate. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery.

Contributions in her memory to Lexington Church of Christ Nursery Fund may be made at the funeral home.
