The 31st Annual Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) program committee is seeking nominations. TWIN honors women, who have made significant contributions and achieved excellence in the workplace, and demonstrated leadership, exceptional talent and a significant level of achievement within a career path.
In addition to the TWIN honoree recognitions, additional honors include:
- Corporate Achievement Award to recognize a company or business that has supported and promoted women employees
- JoAnn Dutton Award to honor a woman for outstanding volunteerism that makes the Mansfield community a better place to live
- Athena Award to a woman for distinguished service in the community and actively assisting women in realizing their leadership potential
The nominations show not only the commitment of the TWIN honoree to her employer, but the commitment of the employer to providing an environment where women can reach their full potential. Nomination forms can be found at www.medcentral.org/main/TWIN.aspx and are due by March 14, 2015.
The TWIN banquet and awards presentation will be held at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center in Mansfield, on May 14. Proceeds from the event will be distributed through area educational institutions to assist women seeking post-secondary training and education to enhance their job skills.
