Theresa F. Kirschenheiter, 89, of Mansfield, died peacefully in her sleep, February 28, 2015 at Oak Grove Manor. Born April 17, 1925 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Umberto and Josephine (Morris) Cianci. A very friendly and generous lady, Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking, and sewing. She bowled for many years and loved doing jigsaw puzzles and going for walks. Peaceful and compassionate, Theresa loved her cats very much. She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Snows Catholic Church.
Surviving are her son, Donald A. (Laura) Kirschenheiter of Mansfield; daughters, Peggy J. Rosborough of Mansfield and Patricia A. (Timothy) Hornis of Delaware, OH; and grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Kirschenheiter, Brian M. Kirschenheiter, and Jessica L. Kirschenheiter; step-grandchildren, Chris Bogner, Brian Bogner, Justin Hornis, and Rhonica Hornis; sister, Francis (Kenneth) Hershner of Mansfield; sister-in-law, Lena Nauman of North Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Kirschenheiter; son, Thomas J. Kirschenheiter; brother, Nicholas Cianci; and sisters, Caroline Jerger and Maryann Disbro.
A private graveside service will be held in Mansfield Cemetery. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Theresa F. Kirschenheiter.
