Betty L. Stewart, age 67, of Galion died Monday, March 2, 2015 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Born June 10, 1947 in Cabin Creek, W.V., she was the daughter of Ursel White.  She married Bert Stewart on December 24, 1965 and he survives.

She was a graduate of East Bank High School in East Bank W.V.  Betty retired from United Church Directories in Galion after a 14 year career.  She enjoyed camping, cooking and spending time with family and on Facebook.  She especially loved her dogs Susie and Billy Ray. 

In addition to her husband she is survived by children Stephani O’Neal, Tony (Vicki) Stewart,  Matthew (Michale) Stewart, Nicole (Jason) Frye and Jennay (Ethan) Stewart, all of Galion; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two granddaughters-in-law; sisters Mary (Jim) Peters of Beckley, W.V. and Jewell Kirk of Charleston, W.V.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a grandson; two great grandchildren and her Aunt Ruth White, who raised her.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to Noon, Friday, March 6, 2015 at Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at Noon, Friday with Pastor Mark Lawson officiating.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
