CLEVELAND, Ohio (Sunday, March 1, 3:15 a.m.)–Snow will continue today and this evening, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland. Snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches are possible with the highest amounts south of U.S. 30. The snow will end tonight.

The period of most intense snow will occur shortly after sunrise to early afternoon, and as much as an inch an hour could fall for a few hours.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Monday. Local counties in the advisory area include Ashland, Knox, Morrow, Crawford, and Richland.

Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to reduced visibility from the snow and snow accumulation. Light winds will limit the potential for blowing and drifting.

Note: A Winter Weather Advisory is normally issued for a variety of winter weather conditions including light snow, blowing snow, sleet, freezing rain and wind chills. The word advisory implies that severe winter weather is not anticipated.
